Francesco Bagnaia’s MotoGP season hasn’t started as planned, with his Ducati teammate Marc Márquez winning the first two races. Unable to put up a strong fight, Bagnaia is already more than 30 points behind in the championship standings.

However, Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali believes this situation won’t last long. Speaking to GPOne.com, he highlighted key factors to consider:

– I think Pecco started with two races that weren’t among his strongest. He finished winter testing with some difficulties that weren’t his fault, so we’re still not seeing his full potential.

The Italian executive is convinced that Bagnaia will bounce back from the Qatar GP onward: ‘I’m convinced that in the next few races, perhaps not in Austin since it’s a track particularly suited to Marc, but from Qatar onward, we will see a different championship’.
