Enea Bastianini, who finished the Argentine GP in 17th position after an early incident with Raúl Fernández, was nevertheless able to identify some positive aspects of his performance, although in the end his tires were quite degraded, which was a situation that hindered him.

After the race in Thailand, the Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider had shown optimism about the result obtained and the sensations he had recovered. This time, even though he rode a large part of the Argentine race alone and without the left wing of his KTM RC16, Bastianini was asked if he could take anything positive from these isolated laps.

‘Yes, to be honest, the bike was a bit strange when you don’t have the wings, the feeling is a bit strange,’ the Italian began by explaining, referring to the riding difficulties with the aerodynamic damage suffered in the crash, yet he still assured: ‘But otherwise, the feeling was good until the last four laps,’ he added.

Bastianini also explained the reason for the decline at the end of the race: ‘In the last four laps the tires gave up quite a bit, but also because I pushed very hard in the middle part of the race, as I tried to do everything not to… to come back and nothing, it’s normal, it’s fine.’

The Italian from Red Bull KTM Tech3 has accumulated seven points so far, thus occupying 14th place in the general classification.
