Francesco Bagnaia once again finished third in the Sprint race of the MotoGP Argentina GP – gaining one position from his starting grid spot.
Once more, the Ducati rider found himself behind Marc Márquez, his teammate, and Álex Márquez (BK8 Gresini/Ducati) – just as had happened in both races in Thailand.
Although he feels closer to the Márquez brothers, Bagnaia admitted in an interview with the official broadcast that there is still room for improvement, as he is not yet able to challenge them:
– I tried my best, I closed a bit more the gap, but still it wasn’t enough to fight against them. At the moment they are faster, so we just have to adapt and continue improving like this. […]. Let’s see tomorrow, and try to enjoy more.
