Marc Márquez remains undefeated in the 2025 MotoGP season, securing another dominant victory in the Argentina GP on Sunday.

Marc Márquez (Ducati) had a strong start, fending off an attack from his brother, Álex Márquez (BK8 Gresini/Ducati), while Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) settled into third place. However, the first corner saw a dramatic moment when Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) collided with Marco Bezzecchi, eliminating the Aprilia rider from the race.

By lap four, the lead changed hands, with Álex overtaking Marc. Bagnaia remained in third but lacked the pace to challenge the leading duo. Franco Morbidelli (Pertamina Enduro VR46/Ducati) was fourth, followed by Johann Zarco (Castrol Honda LCR) in fifth.

On lap five, Morbidelli moved into podium contention, overtaking Bagnaia. The race began to mirror the Thai GP, with Marc closely managing his pace and front tire behind Álex. Meanwhile, Morbidelli pulled away from Bagnaia, but his pace started to drop midway through the race.

Further down the order, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46/Ducati) and Ai Ogura (Trackhouse/Aprilia) battled for seventh place in an intriguing duel.

In fourth place, Bagnaia was not only lacking the pace to reach the podium, but he was also seeing Zarco getting closer behind him. It was a difficult race for the 2022 and 2023 champion, who still hasn’t found the ideal feeling with the Desmosedici GP25.

With nine laps to go, Marc’s approach to Álex became evident. The overtake seemed like only a matter of time, but it still wasn’t happening as the race neared its conclusion. Meanwhile, good news for Bagnaia, who managed to close the gap to Morbidelli while also pulling away from Zarco.

The decisive moment came on lap 21, when Marc used the slipstream on the back straight to overtake Álex and retake the lead. From that point on, no one could catch Marc, who secured another comfortable victory and continues his excellent form.

Álex Márquez finished a solid second, while Morbidelli completed the podium. Bagnaia closed in during the final laps but didn’t have the pace to launch an attack.

Di Giannantonio rounded out the top five, and Zarco was sixth as the best non-Ducati. Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) was seventh, and Ogura was eighth. It was a tough race for Yamaha, with Jack Miller (Prima Pramac Yamaha) as their best rider in 14th place.
