There will be 32 riders competing in the next season of the World Supersport Championship. The provisional entry list was released this Wednesday, and there are rookies and many returning riders.

Some of the rookies come from the MotoGP paddock: Bo Bendsneyder, Jeremy Alcoba, Jaume Masiá, and Xavi Cardelús, coming from the Moto2 World Championship, as well as Filippo Farioli, who is from the Moto3 World Championship. After the world title in Supersport 300, Aldi Mahendra moves up a step, while the Women’s World Champion, Ana Carrasco, will also be in the WSSP in the new Honda Racing team alongside Corentin Perolari.

With champion Adrián Huertas moving to Moto2, the best-ranked rider from 2024 who will remain in WSSP next year will be Stefano Manzi – who will now have Japanese rookie Yuki Okamoto as his teammate at Pata Yamaha Ten Kate.

Michael Ruben Rinaldi is another big name, returning to the category after a difficult year in WSBK. He will ride for GMT94-Yamaha, along with veteran Lucas Mahias. QJMotor is doubling its efforts, adding Niki Tuuli to Raffaele De Rosa.

Despite the ongoing situation with the crisis at KTM AG, for now, MV Agusta Reparto Corse appears on the entry list with Bendsneyder and Farioli, as well as three other bikes from the Italian brand – those of Motozoo ME air racing with Federico Caricasulo and Luke Power; and the one from Team Flembbo-Pilote Moto Production handed to Loïc Arbel.
