Last Saturday, Palma de Mallorca hosted the FIM Awards gala, celebrating the 2024 world champions. Among the winners, Spain’s dominance was unmistakable.

Jorge Martín’s MotoGP World Championship title was the most prominent achievement, but he was far from being the only Spanish world champion this year.

In road racing, Spain claimed titles in the Supersport World Championship (Adrián Huertas), MotoE (Héctor Garzó), and JuniorGP (Álvaro Carpe).

In motocross, Jorge Prado secured the MXGP title, while Toni Bou added more trophies in X-Trial and TrialGP. Josep García triumphed in the EnduroGP, and Mireia Badia became the women’s EnduroGP champion. Additionally, Spain won the Trial des Nations title.

This success underscores Spain’s strong position across multiple motorcycling disciplines, a result of long-term efforts in rider development that have established the nation as one of the leading global powers in the sport.
