Kawasaki has announced that its new Z900 SE, recently revealed in Europe, will be available in Japan from April 12, 2025. This model, which represents an evolution of the popular Z900, is distinguished by its new design and high-quality components.

The heart of the Z900 SE continues to be the 948cc engine, a liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder, capable of delivering 124 hp at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 98 Nm at 7,700 rpm. This powerplant, combined with a lightweight trellis frame, promises an agile response and progressive power delivery, ensuring an exciting and refined riding experience.

The exterior design of the new Z900 SE adopts Kawasaki’s “Sugomi” philosophy, combining aggressive lines and a dynamic profile. The front receives a new “bikini” fairing and a compact three-lens LED lighting system. The assembly conveys a low and aggressive stance, maintaining the visual identity of the Z series.

When it comes to the chassis, Kawasaki has raised the standard with the inclusion of high-performance Brembo brakes, Showa inverted fork, Öhlins rear shock absorber, and Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tires, optimizing stability and cornering performance. Additionally, the electronics have been enhanced with an electronic throttle, IMU for riding dynamics management, cruise control, and a KQS quickshifter system.

The instrument panel is a 5-inch color TFT, with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation system, a first for the brand, reinforcing the touring vocation of this model.

The new Kawasaki Z900 SE will be marketed in Metallic Graphite Gray x Ebony color, maintaining a sophisticated and modern design. Specifications include a seat height of 810 mm, weight of 215 kg, and a fuel tank with a capacity of 17 liters.

With a balance between performance, technology, and design, the new Z900 SE promises to be one of the most interesting options in the sports naked segment.
